Recent engagements include her debut as Dorotea in Graham Vick’s new production of Stiffelio for Festival Verdi 2017 in Parma, conductor G. García Calvo, also recorded by Dynamic; Second lady in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte in Florence at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, condutor R. Böer and director D. Michieletto; Rosina in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia for the Orchestra Vivaldi’s summer season.
She has recently sung a Concert at Savoy Theatre in Helsinki with Arias from Rossini’s operas, in occasion of 150 years since death of the Italian composer.
Among her forthcoming committments, she will sing Giovanna/Rigoletto at Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna directed by Cristina Mazzavillani Muti, conductor Hossein Pishkar.
In 2016 she was Hermia in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Cremona and in other theatres in Lombardia (conductor F.Cilluffo, directors F.Bruni/E.De Capitani), Zaida in Rossini’s Il turco in Italia (conductor C.Frankiln, director A.Antoniozzi) and sung Beethoven’s IX Symphony in Teatro Politeama of Palermo with Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana under G. Neuhold. In 2015 following the 67th As.Li.Co competition for young singers of Europe, she began her collaboration with Opera Lombardia and sang Sharma in the new opera Milo, Maya e il giro del mondo composed by M. Franceschini, directed by C. Leboutte, IX Symphony of Beethoven for the season opening concert of Teatro Sociale in Como and Cherubino in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro directed by M. Martone, conductor S. Montanari (in Como, Cremona, Pavia, Brescia and Bergamo).
In 2014 she performed ‘Rosute’ in Va vilote puartade dal vint, by R. Kubik in Udine and Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Friuli Venezia Giulia Summer Festival. She sang the role of Orfeo in Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice for “Micron junior project” in Turin.
Her earlier performances include the role of Arsace/Demetrio in A. Hasse’s Il Demetrio at Teatro Fraschini in Pavia, Vivaldi’s Cantatas at Urbino Musica Antica Festival, the first and second edition of “Festa dell’Opera“ with Teatro Grande of Brescia, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle under the baton of M. Faelli with Teatro Lirico of Cagliari on tour, the role of Third Lady in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at Teatro Marrucino in Chieti, Mozart’s Krönungsmesse KV317 at Teatro Fraschini in Pavia conducted by F. Ommassini, Beethoven’s IX Symphoyny with L. Passerini as conductor.
After her degree in biotechnology at Pavia’s University, she began singing with Fernando Cordeiro Opa and completed her music studies at “Franco Vittadini” Music Institute in Pavia. She attended masterclasses for the baroque repertoire under Lavinia Bertotti, Sara Mingardo and Sonia Prina, with Stage Director Ivan Stefanutti about 20th century in Forlì, under Marjana Lipovšek at Mozarteum’s Summer Academy, under Stage Director Federico Bertolani at Accademia di Alta Formazione Musicale in Verona, under Gregory Kunde and Ulf Bastlein and currently with Sonia Ganassi.
